Who I am
Hi, I’m Egor Skripkin — a linguist, language coach, and translator with a global teaching background.
For over 10 years, I’ve been helping adults from all over the world dive into new languages — German, Russian, and Japanese — not just to study them, but to actually use them. To speak with confidence. To enjoy the process. And to feel like yourself in a new language.
A few facts about me
- EducationStudied in Russia, Germany, and Japan, including Freie Universität Berlin, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Altai State Pedagogical University, and additional courses at Moscow State University.
- Languages I speak and loveI speak Russian, German, English, French, Italian, and Japanese, and right now I’m learning Korean and Arabic (yes, it’s a bit chaotic, but fun!). Staying a student myself helps me see what my students need and feel along the way.
- Teaching is my thingI’ve worked with students in universities, embassies, and online — and I love it every time someone says, “Wait… now I get it!”
- True CosmopolitanI’ve lived, traveled, and taught in different countries, and I truly love and respect all languages and cultures. I stay away from prejudice and try to keep an open mind wherever I go.
